The Association conducts seminars/workshops on topics that include wider aspects of Risk Management, Cash/Liquidity Management, professional development, bank relationship, Systems and technology, law, tax and accounting impacts, relationship with auditors.

The ACTN holds quarterly breakfast meetings with a guest presenter and or panel discussants. These gatherings are educational as well as providing an opportunity to meet and discuss relevant issues with fellow treasurers, allowing members to keep updated with what the market is doing.

One of the most beneficial aspects of membership is the extensive and high level network of professional contacts, allowing you to learn how other corporations manage treasury issues, and keeping yourself abreast of what is happening in the corporate world.

This is the highlight of the year, bringing together members all over the country as well as experienced practitioners to provide details and insights into corporate treasury management.

The ACTN wants to join and be an active member of the worldwide group; International Group of Treasurers Associations to explore ways of achieving reciprocal membership benefits.

Acting as representative of the corporate treasurers in communicating with regulators on policy matters.
